Resonance wood is a fascinating natural resource! It transforms sound... into music. In fact, this is the wood used to make the soundboards of the acoustic guitars so dear to our eyes and ears.

Extremely rare, it grows in very special places. The Risoud forest in the Vallée de Joux has been known for centuries for its resonant spruce. It even seems that some Stradivarius violins are made with wood from the Vallée de Joux.

Théo Cormier is a Parisian guitarist. A slide specialist, he has already made his mark on the French guitar scene with his solid technique, bottleneck playing and explosive solos.

For over ten years, Théo Cormier has been developing his playing by listening assiduously to the Beatles, the Beach Boys and other masters of progressive pop, as well as contemporary blues and its legends such as Derek Trucks.
His pronounced taste for musical experimentation, sound and harmony have led him to develop a singular, sensitive style, driven by fluid, almost aquatic playing and sophisticated melodies.

Since 2023, he has been working closely with Berg Guitares, France's leading manufacturer of eco-designed instruments.

Joris Amann is the kind of guy who can only learn by himself! After 7 years of playing the trumpet at the Conservatoire, he needed a break to learn how to make his own music.
​
He went out and bought a second-hand guitar, learned Led Zeppelin and Hendrix songs, and ended up making a living from it a few years later, notably by joining a famous Swiss artist's band.
This gave him the chance to play all over the world, but above all he quickly learned the "trade" of being a musician. Understanding your place in a band, the relationship you need to have with a singer. Knowing what kind of musician you are, and what kind you're not.

He'll share his experience with us, what he's learned from the job and how he sees it today. But above all, what makes a guitarist... a musician?
