Official Policy – MIGS Camps

1. Purpose of MIGS Camps

MIGS Camps are immersive training sessions organized by the MIGS ACADEMY.
They are intended for musicians wishing to participate in classes, workshops, and masterclasses led by a guest artist.

2. Services included in registration

Registration for a MIGS Camp includes:
✔️ All scheduled lessons according to the camp program
✔️ Lunch on training days
✔️ Full access to the MIGS exhibition
✔️ Access to the camp artist’s concert (depending on the chosen package)
✔️ Educational materials, if provided by the instructor

3. Services not included

The following costs are the participant’s responsibility:
❌ Accommodation / hotel (participants book their own stay)
❌ Transportation (round trips, local travel, parking, etc.)
❌ Breakfast and dinner
❌ Personal insurance (health, accident, theft, equipment)
❌ Drinks and personal expenses

Participants must organize their entire stay themselves.

4. Required equipment

Each participant must bring their own equipment, including:
🎸 Guitar(s) — acoustic or electric, depending on the camp
🎵 Personal accessories (pick/plectrum, jack cable, tuner, paper/pen, etc.)
🔌 Small amp or multi-effects unit if requested by the artist (specified in camp instructions a few weeks before the start).

MIGS does not provide individual equipment unless specifically indicated.

5. Cancellation policy

By the participant:

• More than 60 days before the event: 80% refund
• Between 60 and 30 days: 50% refund
• Less than 14 days: no refund

Tickets cannot be carried over to the following year.

By the organizer:
In case of camp cancellation (e.g., artist unavailability):

• Full refund of camp registration
• MIGS does not cover any additional costs (hotel, transport, etc.)

6. General liability waiver

By registering for a MIGS Camp, I hereby release MIGS ACADEMY, its employees, managers, contractors, owners, and affiliated entities from any claims, liabilities, property damage, injury, or loss arising from or related to my registration or participation in MIGS Camps.

Participants remain responsible for their personal belongings and equipment.
MIGS ACADEMY is not responsible for theft, loss, breakage, or damage of equipment.
Participants must hold valid health/accident insurance.

7. Access to exhibition and concert

MIGS Camp registration grants access to:

• The Montreux International Guitar Show on camp days
• The camp guest artist’s concert (depending on the chosen package)

8. Internal rules

Participants agree to:

• Respect the schedule and instructions of the instructor
• Behave respectfully towards other participants, artists, and staff
• Not film or record sessions without authorization

The organization reserves the right to remove a participant for inappropriate behavior, without refund.

9. Registration & Payments

• All prices are per person unless stated otherwise.
• All prices are in Swiss Francs (CHF) and may change without notice (sales already completed are not affected).
• All rates are subject to an 8.1% surcharge, including local taxes (VAT).
• Payment: in full or via an installment plan, according to options available at the time of purchase.

10. Image rights

MIGS ACADEMY reserves the right to use photos and videos taken during MIGS Camps, including those featuring participants, for promotional or marketing purposes.

By participating in the camp:

• I agree that my photo or image may be used without compensation.
• I understand that MIGS ACADEMY retains all reproduction rights associated.

11. Acceptance of terms

Purchasing a MIGS Camp online constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of this policy.
